Scam Alert: Fraudsters Are Illegally Using the Elit-Web Name, Logo, and Website to Deceive People

We want to warn our customers, partners, and the general public about an active scam that is illegally using the Elit-Web name, trademark, logo, and link to our official website to gain victims’ trust before defrauding them.

We have received several reports from people scammed—many from several countries, but primarily from the Philippines, who were contacted by scammers claiming to represent Elit-Web and then redirected to a fraudulent cryptocurrency investment platform.

To be clear, Elit-Web has no affiliation with these individuals, this chat group, or this website.

We do not use Telegram for recruiting, do not offer jobs, and do not engage in cryptocurrency or cryptocurrency investments.

OUR EMPLOYEES USE CORPORATE EMAILS and communicate exclusively through them in the format – {name}@elit-web.com

How the Scam Works

Based on the information we’ve received, the scheme typically looks like this:

Scammers, using a fictitious identity, contact the victim (often via instant messaging apps or social media) and claim to be an employee of Elit-Web or an affiliated company. They also provide a link to the Elit-Web website and fake photos of tax registration documents to further gain the victim’s trust.

The victim is invited to a Telegram group, presented as an official or work chat for further communication.

From there, the victim is directed to a fake cryptocurrency platform – https://www.blocmetric.cc/index/Index/index.html  – and asked to “invest” or complete tasks that require a deposit. After depositing money, the victim is unable to withdraw it, and the scammers disappear or continue demanding further payments.

Known fraudulent accounts and links

The following names, Telegram accounts, and websites were identified by victims who contacted us. We’re publishing them so others can recognize and avoid this scam:

• Telegram: @Receptionist_jenny6317 — using the name “Jenny Capistrano”

• Telegram: @Tutorameli_1988 — using the name “Mentor Ameli”

• Name used: “Alexis”
• Name used: “Berkley”
• Telegram group (temporary/disposable link used to lure victims): t.me/+vweO_dYtiiczMTc1      

PLEASE NOTE THAT SCAMMERS CAN QUICKLY AND EASILY CREATE OTHER FAKE ACCOUNTS and GROUPS on Telegram.

If you’re contacted under a different name or nickname, be vigilant and double-check everything!!!

• Fraudulent cryptocurrency website victims were redirected to: https://www.blocmetric.cc/index/Index/index.html — do not visit or enter any personal or financial information on this site.

IMPORTANT — scammers may also use another phishing site. CHECK THE SITES you are asked to follow the link to!!!

Elit-Web’s Official Position

• Elit-Web does not contact people through Telegram to offer jobs, “assistant” or “mentor” positions, or investment opportunities.
• Elit-Web has no affiliation with the individuals, accounts, group, or website listed above.
• Our only official website is elit-web.com, and any communication claiming to represent us should be verified directly through our official contact channels listed there.
• We do not ask clients, partners, or job candidates to deposit money into any cryptocurrency platform under any circumstances.

What to Do If You’ve Been Contacted

If someone has approached you claiming to represent Elit-Web through Telegram or any other messaging platform, or has directed you to a cryptocurrency site referencing our name:

• Do not send money, crypto, or personal/financial information.
• Stop all communication with the account and block it.
•  Report it on Telegram by following this link: https://telegram.org/support
• Save evidence — screenshots of the conversation, usernames, the group link, and any website URLs.
• Verify independently by contacting Elit-Web only through the official channels listed on elit-web.com — not through any link or contact provided by the scammer.

Report It

If you have lost money or been targeted by this scam, please report it to the relevant authorities in your country in addition to sending us the evidence:

• File a report with your local police / cybercrime unit. In the Philippines, this can be done through the NBI Cybercrime Division or the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG).
• If you are in another country, contact your national cybercrime or fraud reporting authority (for example, IC3.gov or ReportFraud.ftc.gov in the United States).
• Please also send us the evidence (screenshots, usernames, links) through our official contact form at elit-web.com so we can continue reporting these accounts and this website to the relevant platforms and registrars.

We take the misuse of our name and brand very seriously and are actively working with Telegram, hosting providers, and law enforcement to have these fraudulent accounts and this fake website shut down. Thank you to everyone who has already come forward — your reports help protect others.
